1985 Honda ATC 200 X Project
I started with my original 200x which I rode many years. It was retired when I joined the army and sat in my dads garage for many years. I sold the 200x to my dad and he put some time and money into the engine( new clutch, piston and bore). After I returned from Germany I purchased the 200x back from my dad. Thanks to the many extra parts my brother had that I got to acquire. I ended up with another frame with a good shock and that is where the project began. Check out the pics.
The Beginning ( This is what I started with)

And then the painting and cleaning began!!

Swingarm, shock and frame back together.

The engine got a new coat of high temp paint and installed on the frame.

Airbox and new airfilter are back on the 200x.
.
The electronics go back on after a good cleaning.

The plastic surgery took a few days, but saved me some money.

Check out the 200x after I gave it a good run in Pennsylvania!!!!! Everything but the rear brake caliper held up. I had to get a new caliper from my brother.
