Garmisch

This was our trip to Garmisch this weekend (26-29 May 2005). We sure did do a lot of stuff. We started the weekend off with a 6 mile bike ride. By the end of the day we had put on 12+ miles in Garmisch. Good ride. On Saturday we took a trip to the Neuschwanstein Castle. Wow what a sight that was. On Sunday we rode the cable car to the top of the Alps there in Garmisch. Then on the way home we stopped at The Linderhof castle. Both of the castles were built by Ludwig II. There are three of these castle he built. But none of them are finished to this day. The total cost of the three castle when he died and the projects came to a halt was around 500 million dollars
